School Can’t Australia

The Brief

School Can’t Australia is an Australian-based education advisory and advocacy group for parents, carers and educators to raise awareness and support for school resistance. The board of directors sought out Sincere Copy to redesign their logo, create a brand guideline and style guide that resonates with the organisation’s mission, vision and their stakeholders.

The problem

The board of directors have designed their own versions of logo. After several iteration, they couldn’t land on a design they were happy with.

The Solution

A brand new logo complete branding and style guide document that explains how to use the logo, colour palette, font type and a narrative that tells the story of School Can’t Australia.

The Strategy

Taking into consideration School Can’t Australia’s advocacy work such as responding to senate enquiry, the design principle behind the logo is to create something simple, easy-to-read and nuanced, to highlight the trifecta of parents, carers, children and school to support young children with school attendance difficulties.

The Feedback

“Sam has done a wonderful job developing a logo for School Can’t Australia. She understood the brief really well designing something that accurately reflects who we are. So pleased with the outcome and our community shares our enthusiasm for the design.”
